Hanyu-ohike Dam

Hanyu-ohike is an earthfill dam in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It is used for irrigation. The dam is about 15 meters high and 126 meters long. It creates a reservoir that can hold 225,000 cubic meters of water and has a catchment area of 0.5 square kilometers. Construction started in 1989, and the dam opened in 1993.
