Hans-Jürgen Baake (born 2 March 1954) is a retired German footballer who played mainly as a defender and midfielder.

He started his youth career with MSV Duisburg and turned professional with VfL Osnabrück in 1972, helping them win promotion to the 2. Bundesliga in 1974. He then joined Wuppertaler SV for two seasons in the Bundesliga, but the club were relegated after one season. From 1976 to 1978 he played for Tennis Borussia Berlin, making 57 appearances and scoring 3 goals. In 1980 he moved to Hertha BSC, where he played seven league matches.

At age 26, Baake had to retire from football due to an injury sustained in a match against Borussia Dortmund’s Miroslav Votava.

Across his senior career, Baake made 117 league appearances and scored 7 goals.
