Fábio Pereira (footballer, born 1991)
Fabio Veras Villas Boas Pereira (born 19 October 1991) is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in São Paulo, he spent his youth career with FSA FC and South Kent, then played college soccer for the University of Michigan from 2011 to 2013, appearing 78 times and scoring 12 goals for the Wolverines.
He also played for Detroit City FC (2012–2013). In 2014 he was the last pick in the MLS SuperDraft, selected 77th overall by Seattle Sounders FC. He signed with Seattle in February 2014 and made one competitive appearance on June 18, 2014, as a late substitute in a 5–0 U.S. Open Cup win over PSA Elite. After being waived following the 2014 season, he joined Uberlândia in Brazil’s Série D in 2015. Fabio Pereira is now retired from professional football.
