Hamar Stiftstidende was a daily newspaper published in Hamar, Norway. It ran from 1847 to 1971. It began as Hamar Budstikke, later becoming Hamar Budstikke og Stiftstidende, and finally Hamar Stiftstidende. In 1872 editor Olaus Arvesen left after disagreements with the owners and started the rival Oplandenes Avis. The newspaper supported the Conservative Party, and later the Liberal Left. In 1916 it merged with Oplandenes Avis. It went bankrupt in 1971 and stopped publishing.
