Haim Levin
Haim Levin (3 March 1937 – 21 April 2024) was an Israeli football goalkeeper. He played for several clubs, most notably Maccabi Tel Aviv from 1960 to 1969, and he also appeared for Maccabi Haifa (53 league games) and other teams including Hapoel Petah Tikva, Hapoel Kfar Saba (on loan), Hapoel Hadera, Beitar Jerusalem, Maccabi Netanya, and Hapoel Jerusalem.
Levin represented Israel 22 times between 1963 and 1969. He was part of the Israel squad that won the AFC Asian Cup in 1964 and he played in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico.
After his playing career, he returned to Maccabi Haifa in the 1980s as a goalkeeper coach for the senior team and the youth department. He had four daughters. Levin passed away on 21 April 2024 at the age of 87.
