Cao Lin (Prince of Donghai)

- Cao Lin (曹霖), Prince of Donghai (東海王), died 5 February 251.
- Father: Cao Pi, the first Wei emperor; Mother: Lady Qiu.
- Titles: Prince of Hedong (8 April 222); Prince of Guantao (225); Prince of Donghai (232). Posthumous name: Prince Ding (定王).
- Known for domestic violence; reportedly abused and killed servants and concubines.
- Children: Cao Qi and Cao Mao.
- Cao Qi inherited the Donghai princedom, which grew to about 6,200 taxed households over time.
- Cao Mao began as Duke of Gaogui; in 254 Empress Dowager Guo selected him as the fourth Wei emperor and he was adopted as a posthumous son of Cao Rui to legitimize the succession.
