Kozelsky Uyezd

Kozelsky Uyezd (Козе́льский уе́зд) was a district in the Kaluga Governorate of the Russian Empire. It lay in the southern part of the governorate, and its administrative center was the town of Kozelsk. In 1897, the population was 124,436, and 99.8% spoke Russian as their native language.
