H. W. Whillock
Henry Westerman "H. W." Whillock (February 9, 1904 – August 9, 1992) was an American politician and the general manager of Boise’s KBOI-Channel 2. He served as mayor of Boise, Idaho, twice in the 1940s: first from April 19, 1941 to May 11, 1942, and again from February 25, 1946 to May 5, 1947. He resigned from the first term to serve as an officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war, he returned to Boise and was appointed to finish Sam S. Griffin’s term, then served as mayor until 1947. He was born in Humansville, Missouri, and died in Boise, Idaho, at age 88.
