Hüseyin Çapkın (born 1951) is a Turkish former police chief who led Istanbul Province. He was born in Akyurt, Tire, İzmir, to a farming family. He has two master’s degrees: one on juvenile delinquency from TODAİE and another on public management from the Ankara Academy of Economy and Commerce; he also holds an English language diploma.

His career started in Balıkesir in 1971, then he worked in Ankara Province (1975–1984).
