Guy Kevin Vincent Matheson (born 20 September 1952) is a former Australian politician who served in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1988 to 1991 as a Liberal. He studied commercial accountancy at Penrith TAFE and worked at the National Australia Bank in Penrith. He joined the Liberal Party at 18. Before the 1988 election, he won Liberal pre-selection for the seat of Penrith, which many thought was unwinnable. His campaign used the slogan "Who is this Guy?" and he won in a Liberal landslide, defeating the sitting member Peter Anderson with a swing of more than 10 percentage points. In 1991, a strong ALP swing led to his defeat by Faye Lo Po'. He has not run for public office since.
