The National Italo-Romanian Cultural and Economic Movement, also called the National Italo-Romanian Fascist Movement, was a short-lived fascist group in Romania in the early 1920s. It was started in 1921 by Elena Bacaloglu, a journalist with Italian connections who had been briefly married to Ovid Densusianu and knew Benito Mussolini. The group copied Italian fascism and promoted close ties between Italians and Romanians. It had about 100 members and was based in Cluj. In 1923 it ended by merging with the National Romanian Fascia to form the National Fascist Movement.
