Grong Station
Grong Station (Grong stasjon) is a railway stop in the village of Grong, Grong Municipality, Trøndelag, Norway. It lies on the Nordlandsbanen line and opened on 30 November 1929. The station code is GRG. It is owned by Bane NOR and operated by SJ Norge. The elevation is 50.9 meters above sea level, and it is about 219.5 kilometers along the Nordlandsbanen line.
Grong Station serves the Nordlandsbanen and the Namsosbanen lines, with bus connections provided by AtB. The station was designed by Gudmund Hoel and Bjarne Friis Baastad. Restaurant operations at the station were taken over by Norsk Spisevognselskap on 1 April 1942. It was the eastern terminus of the Namsos Line until that line closed in 2002.
