Martin Říman
Martin Říman (born May 11, 1961) is a Czech politician. He was born in Frýdek-Místek, then part of Czechoslovakia. He studied at Brno University of Technology and is a member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS).
He served as Minister of Transport from 1996 to 1998. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2002. From September 4, 2006, to May 8, 2009, he was the Minister of Industry and Trade under Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, succeeding Milan Urban and later being replaced by Vladimír Tošovský.
He is married, and his wife is a high-school teacher.
