Ahmed Abdel-Qader
Ahmed Abdel-Qader Abu Ismail (born 10 November 1968) is a Jordanian football manager and former player. He played as a left-back, mainly for Sahab from 1986 to 1998, and earned two caps for Jordan between 1991 and 1995.
After retiring, he built a long coaching career. He managed Sahab (1999–2003) and That Ras (2003). He then joined the Jordan national team setup, serving as assistant for the Jordan under-20s from 2004 to 2007 under Jan Poulsen, and then as head coach of the U-20s from 2007 to 2008. He helped Jordan U-20 qualify for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, after finishing fourth in the 2006 AFC Youth Championship in India.
He later worked as an assistant for the Jordan national team from 2008 to 2013 under Nelo Vingada and Adnan Hamad. His other roles included Shabab Al-Ordon, Saham in Oman, and various positions with the Jordan national team and its youth teams (U-20 and U-23). As of 2021 he was with Sahab, and he is currently the assistant manager of the Jordan national team.
