Greek Uruguayans
Greek Uruguayans are people in Uruguay who are fully or partly descended from Greece, or who were born in Greece and now live in Uruguay.
Most live in Montevideo, Uruguay’s capital, while a smaller number settled in Rivera on the northern frontier.
In the 2011 census, 103 people in Uruguay reported Greece as their country of birth. There are also a few Greek Jews in the country.
