Alex Yuwan Tjong
Alex Yuwan Tjong (born 1 March 1991 in Campinas, Brazil) is a Brazilian badminton player. He started playing at age six in his hometown and joined the Brazil national team in 2004, at age 13. He is right-handed, 1.78 m tall and weighs 71 kg.
His highest world rankings are 93 in men’s singles (4 June 2015), 54 in men’s doubles (8 December 2011), and 48 in mixed doubles (9 April 2015).
Tjong won a bronze medal in mixed doubles at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto with partner Lohaynny Vicente. He has also earned medals at the Pan American Championships, the South American Games, and other regional events.
