Graeme Martin
Graeme Martin, OAM, is an Australian Paralympic sailor born on 11 March 1949 in Perth, Western Australia. He was a firefighter, and his left leg was amputated after an arson fire at a winery in Caversham.
In 2000, with Noel Robins and Jamie Dunross, he won the North American championship for disabled sailors in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the Sydney 2000 Paralympics, they won gold in the Mixed Three Person Sonar event, for which Martin received the Medal of the Order of Australia.
At the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, he won bronze in the Mixed Three Person Sonar with teammates Russell Boaden and Colin Harrison. In 2020, Martin, Robins and Dunross were inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame.
