Goulet River (Vermillon River tributary)
The Goulet River is a river in Quebec, Canada. It is a tributary of the Vermillon River, located on the west side of the Saint-Maurice River in the Mauricie region. The river runs through a mostly forested, mountainous area, where forestry has been the main local activity since the late 1800s.
Source: Gingras Lake in La Tuque, at about 485 metres above sea level.
Course: The Goulet River flows about 40 kilometres from Gingras Lake to the Vermillon River, joining it on the Vermillon’s north bank in the Lac-Normand area (Dupuis township) within the Mékinac Regional County Municipality.
Mouth: Vermillon River, at about 368 metres above sea level.

Toponymy: The name Goulet River was officially adopted on December 5, 1968 by the Commission de toponymie du Québec.
