Gomul Catena
Gomul Catena is a chain of craters on Callisto, one of Jupiter’s moons. It sits in the northern part of the Valhalla multi-ring structure. The craters seem to have formed from east to west, likely as secondary craters from a larger impact or from fragments of the original impactor. The name Gomul Catena comes from Gomul, a river in Norse mythology. The feature was photographed by the Galileo spacecraft on 4 November 1996.
