Namibia at the African Games
Namibia has competed in the African Games since 1991. The Namibian team has won 51 medals in total: 7 gold, 15 silver and 29 bronze. The Namibian Sports Commission funds the team’s participation. In 1991, disabled and able-bodied athletes represented Namibia together. Namibia has appeared in multiple African Games in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019 and 2023.
