Godolphin and Latymer School is a private day school for girls aged 11–18 in Hammersmith, London. About 800 students study there, and the school is known for strong academics and a friendly atmosphere. The motto Francha Leale Toge means "free and loyal art thou," and the crest features a white double-headed eagle.

History: It began in 1861 as a boys’ school and moved to the Iffley Road site in 1862, later closing in 1900. In 1905 it reopened as a girls’ school linked to the Latymer Foundation and was renamed Godolphin and Latymer. From 1906 it received grants from local authorities. In 1939 the school was evacuated during World War II. In 1951 it became a state voluntary aided school and stopped charging fees, but in 1977 it returned to full independent status and resumed charging fees. In 2005 the school celebrated its centenary and bought the nearby St John the Evangelist church, turning it into the Bishop Arts Centre named after former headmistress Dame Joyce Bishop. The poet W. B. Yeats studied at the earlier Godolphin School on this site. Old Dolphins are the school’s alumnae.
