2022 Winter Paralympics Parade of Nations
At the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics opening ceremony on March 4, athletes and officials from each country entered the Beijing National Stadium behind their flag and a placard. Each flag bearer was chosen by the nation’s National Paralympic Committee or by the team itself.
Countries marched in the order of the host language, Simplified Chinese. Because Chinese characters do not have an alphabet, the order was arranged by stroke count. China entered last as the host nation, and Italy entered second-to-last as the next host.
A list followed showing every country’s flag bearer, in the order they appeared. Names are given in the IPC’s official designations, with Chinese names following the Beijing Organizing Committee’s official designations.
