Gnathophyllum americanum, commonly known as the striped bumblebee shrimp, is a small shrimp found in tropical lagoons, bays, and reefs. It grows up to about 1 inch (25 mm) long and has bold coloring with blue highlights, reminiscent of a striped bumblebee.
