CJLA-FM is a French-language radio station in Lachute, Quebec, broadcasting on 104.9 FM as Cime 104.9. It simulcasts with CHPR-FM in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Owned by Cogeco since 2018, CJLA-FM airs a French adult-contemporary format with a strong emphasis on oldies. The station started in 1974 on AM 630 kHz as Radio Lachute and moved to FM in February 1986 after CRTC approval. It briefly used the call sign CJGO-FM in 2000, then switched back to CJLA-FM in 2001. The transmitter operates at 3,000 watts with a 53-meter antenna (Class A). CHPR-FM Hawkesbury carries CJLA-FM’s programming as a simulcast. The station has undergone branding changes, including Lov Radio (2006–2008) and Planète after 2008; the current branding is Cime 104.9. By 2010, the playlist had fewer classic hits, aligning more with nearby Montreal French AC stations CFGL-FM and CITE-FM.
