Gironès

Gironès is a comarca (county) in eastern Catalonia, Spain. It borders Selva, Baix Empordà, Alt Empordà, Pla de l'Estany and Garrotxa. Its capital and largest town is Girona, which is also the capital of the Girona region and the province of Girona.

The name in Catalan is Gironès; in Spanish it is Gironés.
