Giochi Preziosi S.p.A., or Gruppo Giochi Preziosi, is a privately owned Italian toy company founded in 1978 by Enrico Preziosi. Legally based in Milan and practically based in Cogliate, it designs toys and also creates TV series based on its toys. The group collaborates with Marathon Media and Mondo TV, and owns the Gormiti and Dinofroz franchises. It licenses toys for brands such as Marvel Comics, Power Rangers, Ben 10 and Winx Club. Since 2006, Giochi Preziosi has produced TV series, starting with Gormiti: The Lords of Nature Returns!, and has released video games based on Gormiti for Nintendo Wii and DS. In 2017, it sold 50% of the Prenatal Retail Group joint venture to Artsana, and its chairman Enrico Preziosi bought back the minority stake from Ocean Gold Global. The group acquired Flair in 2011, and Ocean Gold Global invested in 2014. In 2018, Giochi Preziosi reported revenue of about €403 million and an operating income of around €0.9 million.
