Georgia State Route 284 (SR 284) is a 17.0-mile north-south highway in northeastern Georgia, running through Hall and White counties. It begins in Gainesville at SR 11 Business (NE Cleveland Highway) and ends north of Clermont at SR 115. The route travels southeast from Gainesville, then northeast on Clarks Bridge Road, crossing the Chattahoochee River arm of Lake Lanier. It continues northeast to Glade Farm Road, turns northwest to meet SR 52 south of Clermont, then goes into Clermont and intersects US 129/SR 11 again (Cleveland Highway). In downtown Clermont, SR 284 briefly runs with SR 283. North of downtown, it meets SR 254 (Main Street) and heads northwest. A short stretch near Walker Mountain Lake straddles the Hall-White County line, after which SR 284 re-enters Hall County and soon crosses into White County, where it ends at SR 115. Maintained by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
