Gandi Sulistiyanto Soeherman (born February 13, 1960) is an Indonesian businessman and diplomat. He served as Indonesia’s ambassador to South Korea from 2021 to 2023 and later joined the Presidential Advisory Board from July 17, 2023 to October 20, 2024. Born in Pekalongan, Central Java, he is the eldest of six children in a farming family. He earned an undergraduate degree from Diponegoro University in Semarang and, while helping his family, worked to pay for his education. He began his career at an automotive company (now part of Astra International) and then joined PT Asuransi Jiwa Eka Life (now Sinar Mas MSIG Life) in 1992. He rose through Sinar Mas and became Managing Director in 2001, leading the debt restructuring task force after the 1998 financial crisis. In June 2021, President Joko Widodo named him as the ambassador to South Korea; he was sworn in on November 17, 2021 and started his duties in December 2021. He is married to Susi Ardhani and has three children, and he lives in Jakarta.
