Frederik Rieper
Frederik Thykær Rieper (born 19 June 1999 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back and captains FC Fredericia in the Danish Superliga.
Rieper started playing football with ASA Fodbold in Aarhus, then moved to AGF’s academy at age 13. He later spent time with Vejle Boldklub and IF Lyseng. In 2019, he spent a year with Hofstra Pride in the United States before returning to Denmark.
His senior career began with IF Lyseng, followed by Aarhus Fremad from 2021 to 2024. In early 2024 he joined Silkeborg and made his Danish Superliga debut on 18 February 2024 in a 0–3 loss to FC Copenhagen. In May 2024 he left Silkeborg and signed with Fredericia on a contract through June 2027.
Rieper comes from a footballing family. He is the son of former Danish international Marc Rieper, who played for West Ham United, and his uncle Mads Rieper also played professionally in Denmark.
