Franz-Josef Berners

Franz-Josef Berners (born 27 March 1945 in Dabringhausen) is a German politician from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He joined the CDU in 1971 and served on the Leverkusen city council from 1975. After the death of Helga Wex, he joined the Bundestag, serving from 17 January 1986 to 18 February 1987. In parliament, he was a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs and a deputy member of the Committee on Research and Technology.
