Fréchet-Aure
Fréchet-Aure is a small commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south‑western France, in the Occitanie region. It is located in the Pyrenees and rises from about 655 to 1,450 meters above sea level, covering 13.4 square kilometers. The population was 16 in 2023, giving a population density of about 4.7 people per square kilometer. Fréchet-Aure is part of the Bagnères-de-Bigorre arrondissement and the Neste, Aure et Louron canton, and belongs to the Aure Louron intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Marie-José Rodriguez. The postal code is 65240 and the INSEE code is 65180.
