Floreta Faber

Floreta Faber (born March 19, 1968) is an Albanian economist and former diplomat. She served as Albania’s ambassador to the United States, with accreditation to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Panama, from January 2015 to July 2023.

Education
- Graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, in 1990.
- Studied for a Master of Science in International Marketing & Strategy at the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo (1993–1995), with an exchange to Washington State University.
- Earned a Masters Diploma in Marketing and Operational Management from MB University in Albania.
- Completed executive programs and training, including the International Visitor Leadership Program and studies at Harvard University.

Career
- 1990–1993: Worked in Shkodër at various organizations, including a local chamber of commerce and a regional business agency.
- 1995–2000: Worked at Deloitte & Touche in Tirana and Prague, helping to open the Tirana office and taking on several roles.
- 2000–2014: Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania, collaborating with Albanian and American governments, international organizations, and EU partners.
- January 2015: Appointed Albania’s ambassador to the United States by President Bujar Nishani; presented credentials to President Barack Obama. She was also accredited as a non-resident ambassador to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Panama.
- July 2023: Ended her tenure as ambassador.

Personal life
- Floreta Faber is married to Dr. Edmond Faber, a vascular surgeon. They have a daughter, Kesli (born 2000), and a son, Klint (born 2003).
