Flora camouflage
Flora camouflage is a Russian military camo pattern used by the Russian Armed Forces from 1998 to 2011. It was introduced to replace the Barvikha pattern and is sometimes called VSR-98 (Russian Armed Forces 1998) or nicknamed vertikalka, berezka, or VSR-93. The design has similarities to Butan and Tiger stripe camo. Flora was adopted in 1998 and has been seen with pro-Moscow Crimean units during the Crimea annexation and with Russian troops in the war in Donbas. It is optimized for central Russian environments and helps break up the silhouette. The stripe pattern earned it the nickname Arbuznyj (watermelon). The color scheme can vary by fabric. Flora consists of the main Flora pattern and Mountain Flora, which uses dark yellow, sand, or khaki tones.
