Jonah Osabutey
Jonah Osabutey (born 8 October 1998) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a forward. He started his career with Tema Youth in Ghana before joining Werder Bremen in Germany in 2017. He played mainly for Werder Bremen II, scoring 13 goals in 31 games. In the 2018–19 season, he had 12 goals and 2 assists in 27 appearances for the reserve team.
In June 2019 he extended his contract with Werder Bremen and then went on loan to Royal Excel Mouscron in Belgium for the 2019–20 season, where he scored 5 goals and made 4 assists, earning the title of Mouscron’s player of the season with over half the votes. For the 2020–21 season he was loaned to Oud-Heverlee Leuven, but did not play in the league.
On 31 August 2021 he joined KV Kortrijk on a one-year contract with an option to extend, but injuries kept him from playing and he became a free agent in July 2023. Internationally, Osabutey has represented Ghana at the U17 and U20 levels.
