The Federal Correctional Institution, Milan (FCI Milan) is a U.S. federal prison in Michigan. Most of the facility sits in York Charter Township, with a small part in the city of Milan. It is run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and currently houses male inmates at a low-security level. An adjacent Federal Detention Center holds people who are awaiting trial or are in holdover status.

The campus covers about 332 acres and is located roughly 45 miles southwest of Detroit, 15 miles south of Ann Arbor, and 30 miles north of Toledo.

FCI Milan opened in 1933 as a Federal Detention Farm. Over the years it has changed roles, including periods when it housed female inmates (1933–1939) and when it housed offenders under the Federal Youth Corrections Act. It has also been a medium-security facility at times.

Notable historical facts include the 1938 execution of Anthony Chebatoris—the only federal execution ever carried out in Michigan—and the brief presence of Helen Gillis and Evelyn Frechette (wives of bank robbers Baby Face Nelson and John Dillinger) who served one-year sentences there in the mid-1930s for aiding their husbands.

FCI Milan offers programs to help inmates rehabilitation. The Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) runs a 500-hour, 12-month course that can reduce a sentence and allow time in a halfway house after completion; space is limited due to high demand. The Life Connections Program (LCP) is an 18-month, residential, multi-faith restorative-justice program designed to reduce reoffending and help victims and communities heal.

Uniquely, Milan partners with Milan High School to offer inmates a chance to earn a high school diploma—the only federal prison program of its kind.

On January 2, 2019, inmate Christian Maire was killed in a violent attack inside the facility. Three inmates—Adam Taylor Wright, Jason Dale Kechego, and Alex Albert Castro—were charged with second-degree murder. Wright and Castro were sentenced to 24 years in prison, while Kechego received 28 years; all sentences run consecutively to prior convictions. The three men are now housed at ADX Florence in Colorado.
