Bunica is a short river in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a left-bank tributary of the Neretva and a main tributary of the Buna. The river starts at Vrelo Bunice, a deep karst spring located between the villages of Hodbina and Malo Polje, about 14 km south of Mostar. The spring is very deep and hard to access, sitting at about 55 meters above sea level. The Bunica and Buna flow west for about 10 km before the Bunica joins the Neretva near the village of Buna. The Bunica is about 6 km long and is home to the Softmouth trout, a fish endemic to the area.
