Falco 3 is the third studio album by Austrian musician Falco, released on 15 October 1985. It was produced by Bolland & Bolland, the first Falco album produced by this duo after working with Robert Ponger. The album did very well in the United States, reaching number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 18 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The singles from the album were Rock Me Amadeus (May 1985), Vienna Calling (30 September 1985), and Jeanny (23 December 1985). Rock Me Amadeus became a huge hit in the US after a film about Mozart, spending three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and charting highly on the dance and R&B charts. Vienna Calling also made the US Top 20.

Different regions released the album with different track versions. In the US, the UK, and Japan, Rock Me Amadeus and Vienna Calling appeared in extended mixes known as the Salieri Version and the Metternich Arrival Mix. In other parts of the world, the standard European mixes were used. The album’s US release helped keep the Vienna theme strong in the charts.

Jeanny was a controversial European hit because it tells a stalker’s point of view and was banned by some radio stations, though it still charted well there. The album also includes a German version of The Cars’ Looking for Love called Munich Girls, and a lounge-style cover of Bob Dylan’s It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue. The cover sleeve lists “special mixes,” but those are mostly the standard album versions; true remixes appeared only on the US, UK, and Japanese releases.

A mastering error on the European CD version of It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue caused an extended loop, which was corrected in later anniversary editions. Falco had originally wanted to include a song called Without You, but contractual issues and fit with the other songs led to its omission.

The 25th anniversary edition, released in 2010, added bonus tracks. A two-CD deluxe version also from 2010 included extra video material. A deluxe edition released in 2025 adds new liner notes, full lyrics, and additional bonus tracks.
