Faith Child is the stage name of Michael Oluwaseyi Ayo, born on 5 March 1989 in London. He is a British Christian rapper who makes Christian hip hop. He began making music at age 11 with a group called Godz Inheritorz and later contributed to projects in 2005 and 2007. He released his first single, I Like It, in 2008, followed by Flashback in 2009. His debut album Illumination came out in 2009, and his second album Airborne was released in 2015. He won Best Gospel Act at the MOBO Awards in 2015 and had been nominated in 2010. He has toured widely, opening for Tinie Tempah and sharing the stage with Lecrae and Kirk Franklin. In 2016 he toured 12 countries and met the President of Slovenia; he also performed for London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan at the Mayor’s Christmas Carol Service. He continues to release music and perform.
