Faiakes
Faiakes (Greek: Φαίακες) is a municipal unit on the island of Corfu in the Ionian Islands region of Greece. It used to be its own municipality, but since the 2019 local government reform it is part of the municipality Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands. The unit is in the northeastern part of Corfu and covers about 53.9 square kilometers. In 2021, 5,784 people lived there. The seat of the former municipality was the village Ipsos. The municipal unit includes the communities of Agios Markos, Ano Korakiana, Kato Korakiana (including Ipsos), Sgourades, Sokraki, Spartylas and Zygos.
