Neoserica rungweensis
Neoserica rungweensis is a beetle in the Scarabaeidae family. It is found in Tanzania. Adults are about 9–10 mm long. The underside is reddish-brown, dull, and tomentose (covered with fine hairs). The upper surface is smooth, and the antennae are lighter brown. The pronotum (the shield behind the head) has shallow, irregular pits with tiny hairs. The elytra (the hard wing covers) have very sparse, indistinct punctures arranged in faint rows. It was originally described as Autoserica rungweensis Frey, 1974.
