Fahrudin Mustafić

Fahrudin Mustafić (born 17 April 1981) is a former footballer who spent most of his career in Singapore with Tampines Rovers and also played for the Singapore national team. He was born in Novi Pazar, in what was then SFR Yugoslavia, and moved to Singapore in 2002. He became a Singapore citizen in 2005.

Club career
Mustafić played mainly as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. He started with Tampines Rovers (2002–2009), with a loan spell at Sengkang Marine in 2003. He later played for Persija Jakarta (2009–2010) and Persela Lamongan (2010–2011) in Indonesia before returning to Tampines Rovers from 2011 to 2018. He retired after the 2018 season, after more than 300 official games for Tampines. He has worked as an assistant coach at Tampines Rovers since 2019.

International career
Mustafić debuted for Singapore in January 2006 in a friendly against Denmark and earned 87 international caps, scoring 8 goals. He played a key role in Singapore’s 2007 AFF Championship victory and scored his first international goal in the final against Thailand in a controversial penalty at the National Stadium. He is known for his tough defending, good passing, and reliable penalty taking. He holds Serbian, Bosnian, and Singaporean citizenship.

Personal
He is a Muslim and is affectionately nicknamed "Farra" by fans.
