Marilyn Pryde (later Marilyn Lawrence), born 15 May 1952 in New Zealand, is a former professional tennis player. She was right-handed and won her first national title in 1968 at age 15. She began playing for New Zealand in the Federation Cup in 1970, appearing in eight ties. Pryde was runner-up to Evonne Goolagong at the 1973 New Zealand Open and also faced Goolagong at Wimbledon. Her Grand Slam results include Wimbledon reaching the second round in 1972 and 1973; French Open appearances in 1972–73 in singles qualifying and 1973 in doubles. In mixed doubles, she reached the Wimbledon third round in 1970 and the French Open first round in 1973. Her daughter, Kelly Lawrence, designs jewelry and handbags and is married to New Zealand triathlete Terenzo Bozzone.
