Evgenia Chernyshyova

Evgenia Chernyshyova (Genya Chernyshova; Russian: Евгения Чернышёва) is a former Soviet pair skater. She skated with Dmitri Sukhanov. The pair won gold at the 1989 World Junior Championships after earning silver in 1988. They were coached by Natalia Pavlova in Saint Petersburg. Chernyshyova retired from competition in 1991 and moved to the United States, where she became a skating coach in Utah. She later coached skaters including Nathan Chen, who won the U.S. novice championships in 2010 and 2011.
