Eva Margareta Fundin (1777–1800) was a Swedish stage actress and dancer. She was the star attraction of Gothenburg theatre and one of the most celebrated actors outside Stockholm in her time. Her parentage and background are unknown. Fundin joined the theatre company of Johan Anton Lindqvist in 1793 and worked at the Comediehuset in Gothenburg, which he staffed at that time. She was very popular in Gothenburg, and actors there were often unfavorably compared to her long after her death. She acted and danced. Her roles included Eugenie in Klosteroffren by Monvel, Louise in Flickorna eller Vänskapen på prof, and most notably Carolina in Den ädle Stråtröfwaren eller Wänskapen och Troheten, in which a critic called her "the only actress" of the theatre. Eva Fundin died of fever after a cold caused by a draft in the theatre during the winter season of 1799–1800. At the same time, colleagues Maria Deland and Charlotta Edberg fell ill, and the theatre was eventually closed later that year. She was not married but left a son, Otto Mauritz (born 1797). Theatre critics Arvid Hummel and Johan Erik Brooman wrote poems in her honor after her death, and Brooman sang at her funeral.
