Ethadophis epinepheli

Ethadophis epinepheli is a tropical eel in the worm/snake eel family Ophichthidae. It was described in 1972 by Jacques Blache and Marie-Louise Bauchot. Only a single specimen is known, found in the stomach of a grouper off Senegal in the eastern Atlantic. The eel can reach up to 42.4 cm in total length. It has also been named Microrhynchus epinepheli and Apterichtus epinepheli in earlier classifications.
