Estrela da Casa
Estrela da Casa, or Star of the House, is a Brazilian reality singing competition from TV Globo. It premiered on August 13, 2024, and is hosted by Ana Clara. The show has two seasons so far, with a second season planned for 2025 and Michel Teló joining as a mentor with a refreshed format.
Contestants live together in a house at Estúdios Globo, which is called the Music Training Center from season two. They train, perform, and compete in weekly challenges across different music styles. Each contestant releases a personal single, and how their song performs helps their chances. Viewers vote in real time to influence the results. The winner receives career management, support for a national tour, and a cash prize starting at R$500,000.
Palco Estrela da Casa (Stage) is an online segment after the live Festival on Gshow and Globoplay, where eliminated contestants are interviewed. It was called Bate-Papo Estrela da Casa in season 1 and is hosted by Ceci Ribeiro and Silvero Pereira in season 1, with Lucas Lima hosting from season 2 onward.
Estrela da Casa – Backstage is a spin-off on Multishow that began on August 14, 2024. It features recently eliminated contestants talking with celebrity guests and performing jam sessions. In season 1 the host was Kenya Sade; in season 2 the hosts are Dedé Teicher and Lucas Silveira.
