Esfeden (Persian: اسفدن) is a city in the Central District of Qaen County, South Khorasan province, Iran. It lies at about 33.6439°N latitude and 59.7789°E longitude. The population has grown from 3,145 people in 2006 (759 households) to 3,530 in 2011 (914 households), and 3,598 in 2016 (1,070 households). The city lies in the Iran Standard Time zone (UTC+3:30).
