Ernesto Torregrossa

Ernesto Torregrossa Rezzonico (born 28 June 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward. Born in Italy, he represents the Venezuela national team.

Family and eligibility: He is the son of Venezuelan former footballer Lirio Torregrossa and Argentine former volleyball player Karina Rezzonico, both of Italian descent. Because of his heritage, he could have played for Italy, Argentina, or Venezuela, and he chose Venezuela in 2022.

Club career: Torregrossa started his career at Verona and spent several loans early on with Siracusa, Monza, Como, and Lumezzane. He later moved to Brescia (initially on loan, then permanently) and joined Sampdoria in 2021 (initially on loan, then a permanent move). He was loaned to Pisa in 2022–23, then moved there permanently, and later signed with Salernitana for the 2024–25 season. In 2025 he joined Carrarese.

International: He began playing for Venezuela in 2022 and has scored 2 goals in international play as of mid-2023.
