Ernesto Rotunno
Ernesto Rotunno (birth and death dates unknown) was a Uruguayan chess player. He won the Uruguayan Chess Championship in 1938 and 1939. In the late 1930s he was one of Uruguay’s leading players. He competed in the 1938 Montevideo tournament, held as the South American Championship, which was won by World Champion Alexander Alekhine. Rotunno also represented Uruguay in the 1954 Chess Olympiad, in the match against the Soviet Union.
