Erin Fazackerley
Erin Fazackerley is an Australian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder, mainly focusing on fast bowling. She bats right-handed and bowls right-arm fast. She has represented the Hobart Hurricanes in the WBBL, as well as Tasmania and the Melbourne Renegades.
She joined the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2016–17 season and later played for Tasmania. She is tall, athletic, and known for her ability to bounce the ball with pace. Erin has also played tennis and netball at a high level and tried soccer as a child before focusing on cricket.
In November 2017, she played for a Governor-General’s XI in a T20 match against England, taking 2 wickets for 13 runs. Her aunt, Kim Fazackerley, was the first Tasmanian woman to represent Australia in cricket, playing Tests and ODIs in the 1990s, and Erin has trained with her.
In 2018 she was named in the Hobart Hurricanes’ squad for the 2018–19 WBBL season.
